Technos: Technical Characteristics The
fully-digital Technos Family ultrasound system features all the up-to-date
technologies, including linear, convex and phased array. Through the Digital Adaptive Gain Control, Technos Family uses proprietary algorithms which automatically analyze the amplitude and phase of the ultrasound signal, eliminate distortion, and optimize the dynamic range of the image. This feature makes it possible to remove CFM-superimposed artifacts on hyperechogenic structures, thereby avoiding possible sources of diagnostic error. Custom-designed Digital Adaptive Bandpass Filtering is based on advanced digitalfilters, which allow real-time automatic optimization of the ultrasound band-pass signal in relation to the depth of the scan, the selected frequency, or the operative mode on each vector. This creates exceptional image homogeneity, completely compensating for variable attenuation of the ultrasound signal as it passes through different tissues. By processing echoes from the same RF vector, acquired at different times, the MultiVector RF Signal Processing used by Technos Family applies algorithms that improve the signal-to-noise ratio and provide clearer images. This strategy also creates a platform that can be upgraded in the future with the latest contrast processing algorithms. Multifrequency is available in all operative modes – B-Mode, M-Mode, Spectral and Steerable CW Doppler, CFM, Power Doppler, VeloPower-directional Power Doppler, TEI™-Tissue Enhancement Imaging, Vpan Imaging, CTEI™-Contrast Tissue Enhancement Imaging and CnTI™- Contrast Tuned Imaging™, with the possibility of extended frequency range. Any probe and/or application is designed to support many different presets that are customized and selectabledirectly by you, and the powerful Cine Memory can store thousands of ultrasound images (depending on the active mode). Dedicated calculations are available and you can program presets for any kind of application. A specific cardiac module can allow you to perform cardiology in the easiest way: steerable CW Doppler on phased array probes, cardiac calculations, TEI Imaging and dedicated TE probe are just a few advanced features introduced for you. A wide range of interfaces to connect different types of peripherals can be immediately used, such as SVHS video (Y/C), composite video, stereo audio (R/L), SCSI port, parallel port, serial port and network card ...the direct way to meet any type of personal requirement, such as recording voice comments on VTR in real time by using your own dedicated headphones! Dedicated hardware and software tools are specifically designed to be used in combination with the ultrasound contrast agents, in order to improve CFM and B-Mode scanning modalities and perform 3D acquisitions with different visual renderings and custom measurements. Very High Frequency Sonography (VHFS) provides you with the highest tissue resolution and definition, both in B/W and Color imaging, when using the latest linear technology specifically developed by Esaote-Pie Medical. The UNA™- Ultrasound Network Architecture is a multiprocessor platform with a communication protocol processing hundred millions of information per second. Created specifically by Esaote-Pie Medical (proprietary hardware and software architecture), it improves the single system processes in different operative modes, avoiding time-consuming additional procedures. The link between diagnostics and computer functions, including DSM (Digital Storage Module) for enhanced connectivity and image archiving, is now ready with UNA. Connectivity and Image Archiving bring your daily work to the center of the entire medical world, allowing quick and reliable connection via network compatibility with the Windows NT® platform and DICOM®3 protocol, along with secure archiving inside the automatic patient databases created by Esaote-Pie Medical proprietary ImageLab™ . Technos. A smart solution to optimize your routine diagnostics through future technology.
