Technos: Transducers

When you spend all day in front of an ultrasound system, your comfort is just as important as your productivity; in fact, the more comfortable you are, the more productive you are.

Technos Family was created with user comfort in mind. It is ergonomic, adjustable, and easy on the eyes, with lightweight probes that fit in your hand comfortably, helping to provide superior imaging performance that meets even the most demanding requirements.

The next level of comfort for the highest level of productivity. That’s why you need Technos Family and its advanced transducers to make confident diagnostics in your daily work, using some of the cleanest, clearest ultrasound images you’ve ever seen.

We start with a wide range of low-impedance transducers, created using state-of-the-art composite ceramics that allow very high component density and exceptional lateral image resolution, while greatly reducing size and weight.

Giving primary importance to intrinsic quality and new digital platforms, specific research was undertaken to refine the techniques for cutting ceramic elements and thereby obtaining a dramatic reduction in pitch size.

These probes also feature extremely wide frequency bandwidth – at least 70 percent greater than nominal frequency, further enhancing image quality. A full range of probes designed for flexibility, comfort, and outstanding performance, because the transducers we use to create the images are among the most critical components of your ultrasound system.

Once Technos probes are connected, you can start scanning immediately, without making a lot of time-consuming adjustments. Plus, multi-transmission frequencies from all transducers allow you to use Technos probes for a wider range of patients and examinations.

This, in turn, produces a positive effect on both image quality and adaptability of the system to incorporating new advanced techniques, such as TEI™ harmonic processing, or CTEI™ imaging with the use of contrast media.

Moreover, we decided to equip our Technos Family with the new matrix array transducers to permit the ultrasound beam to focus on an additional plane (azimuth) and thereby optimize the image quality.
